Brett Dungan commenced his career in the motor industry and soon took top honours, but when he entered the hospitality industry in 1991, he truly excelled.

In 1999 the International Hotel & Restaurant Association awarded him “The Young Hotelier of the World”. Since then, Dungan has served on various hospitality, technology and association boards. He was FEDHASA’s youngest-ever chairman and CEO and served as such from 2003 to 2012.

Although Dungan has changed direction, and now manages IT companies and tourism operations, he remains passionate about the hospitality industry and its convergence with technology. He is a Director and shareholder of TradeRoot Technologies based in Cape Town as well as  CEO and Director of Royal Bafokeng Tourism

Being committed to South Africa tourism  and having hosted and delivered a successful World Cup in 2010, Dungan served or chaired various other boards, namely
